A wedding on the Island of Horta in the Azores.

I was very lucky to be asked to shoot Tom + Jacinda’s wedding on one of the Azores Islands. A 2 hour flight from Lisbon in Portugal. I had no idea these islands even existed. It was incredible.

I have to admit when Tom + Jacinda said they were getting married on one of the Azores islands, i had no idea these islands even existed. I’d never heard of them. But they sounded beautiful and after a quick google search i was in, there was no way i was going to give up such a great opportunity to photograph a wedding on the beautiful Island of Horta. I flew out to Lison a week early so i could hang out with Tom and + Jacinda’ before we all took a flight to the islands. The flight is around 2 hours off of Lisbon, in quite a small plane. It was my first time in Lisbon and i absolutely loved it, it’s an incredible city.
